Rodrigo is a Perth-based composer with experience across a wide range of styles including blues, funk, psych-rock,  electronica, chamber music and various experimental and new-music forms.

In 2016 he wrote, recorded and produced the soundtrack for Two Girls: One on Each Knee, a short film which took out the Best Director, Best Actor and Best Scriptwriter prizes at the WA Screen Academy Wards 2016. Since then he has also worked with members of that production on the short a Who is Stanley Hawes?, which uses a comedic tone to explore the life and accomplishments of a figure in the history of  Australian documentary filmmaking. This short was shown at the Australian International Documentary Film Festival in march 2017.

He holds a diploma in Sound Production from SAE institute and is in his third year of a Bachelor’s Degree of Composition and Music Technology at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
